KONOHANA-SAKUYA-HIME 木花咲耶姫
KONOHANA-SAKUYA-HIME was a beautiful princess like cherry blossoms. She is the grandmother of the first emperor.
She married the grandfather of the first emperor and became pregnant on the next day following a marriage ceremony. The first emperor's grandfather suspected her then. He thought that the babies' father might be another man.
She said to him. "If babies' father is you, no matter what may happen, they will be born safely."
Fire lit her room. And she gave birth to babies safely in the room wrapped in the flame.
As a result, she came to be worshipped as God of fire, and God of an easy delivery. And she is deified in the greatest volcano "Mt. Fuji" in Japan.
木花咲耶姫は、桜花のように美しいお姫様です。彼女は初代皇帝の御祖母さんです。彼女は、初代皇帝の御祖父さんと結婚して、結婚式の翌日身ごもりました。そのとき、彼はその赤ちゃんの父親が別の男性ではないかと疑いました。彼女は、彼に「あなたが赤ちゃんの父親であれば、何があっても無事に生まれるでしょう。」と言いました。そのあと彼女は産屋に火をつけて、その中で無事出産しました。その結果、彼女は火の神様、安産の神様として崇拝されるようになりました。そして、彼女は日本一の火山「富士山」に祭られています。
